Answer: Sludge Klear is ok to use in these circumstances. -

The sludge clear will not remove the soil at the bottom of the pond will it? I don't want that to happen.
Answer: No, it will breakdown unwanted organics at the bottom of the pond, but will not breakdown soil. -
Question:
I have foam on the surface of my pond..for 2 weeks now...will these products get rid of it?
Answer: They will help, but you may need to use a blanket weed remover as you may have a build up of sludge and blanket weed at the bottom of your pond, you could also use barley straw which should help. And if you have pond pump and filter, it may need cleaning out. -

After using sludge tablets a lot of my pond is covered at the top in sludge. Do I leave it or remove it?
Answer: The Sludge Klear will have broken up the sludge (which is a good thing) and if you have a pump and filter it will catch it and remove it. If you don't then fishing it out and putting it on your compost heap is a good thing to do. Do not leave it by the side of the pond as it will leach back into the pond -

Is this suitable for ponds with sturgeon?
Answer: No idea phone Envii they have all the answers and very knowledgeable. -

Can you use both products together or a few days in between each other
Answer: Hi, they can be used together, but preferably Sludge first then Pond Klear 5-7 days after. -

Uv light - turn off each 5-7 day retreatment or leave off?
Answer: I do not have a Uv filter and have been using this for four weeks now with no sign of it working. -

Clear blanket weed.
Answer: Hi, It will not kill Blanket weed as it does not contain a chemical herbicide, what it tends to do is to remove the nutrients Blanket weed needs to grow and also attacks the anchor point of the blanket weed to the pond side/edge. I would recommend Sludge Klear at a triple dose i.e. 1 x tablet per 1,500 litres of water and to remove as much as you can manually where possible (and safe to do so). Sludge Klear will deal with the organic imbalances in the pond which create blanket weed, and is natural rather than chemical solution, therefore not an instant 'blanket weed killer'. If you go the killer route i would suggest Sludge Klear is used afterwards to deal with the organic imbalance to stop it re-growing (and also the dead blanket weed that will have sunk to the bottom of the pond).
