Other Hoof Care SG_B003Z99H0M_US Editorial Review
The Kaeco Epsom Salt Poultice is a product distributed by Kaeco Group Savannah, MO, which contains 60% Epsom salt and 1.0% of Methyl Salicylate in a water-soluble base. It is primarily designed for wrapping hooves when treating hoof abscesses of horses but can also be used for splinters in humans and other minor sores. However, it is not suitable for use on cats, and users must contact veterinarian manufacturers before using it on the pets. Customer feedback on the product has been a mixed one. While some users have claimed that the product works great for wrapping horse hooves when treating hoof abscesses and helps to take away pain from sores caused by bugs, others have stated that it is a waste of money and ineffective in reducing inflammation. One user reported that the product, despite being referred to as "slime," was a sensory seeker's delight, while another noted that it was amazing for drawing out hoof abscesses. One of the major drawbacks of this product is that it is labeled as "not for human use," which has made many users apprehensive about using it on humans, even for splinters and other minor sores.
