Nutritionist's Take
Refresh Optive Advanced Lubricant Eye Drops are primarily designed to alleviate dry eye symptoms rather than offer nutritional benefits. The active ingredients, which typically include carboxymethylcellulose sodium and glycerin, work as lubricants, providing moisture and relief for dry, irritated eyes. The product is generally considered safe for most individuals, including contact lens wearers. However, potential drawbacks include the presence of preservatives that may irritate sensitive eyes with extended use. It's not a nutritional supplement, so it doesn't directly impact dietary needs or overall health in terms of nutrition. For those seeking relief from dry eyes, this product can be effective but may not be suitable for individuals with allergies to specific ingredients. As a recommendation, consumers should choose preservative-free options if they require frequent use.
