The Best of Triumph

**** The latest compilation from Triumph, often hailed as one of the most notable hard rock bands, has received a mixed reception from fans and critics alike. Reviewers express a nostalgic fondness for the band's music, citing their influential sound that defined the rock scene of the 1980s. Many listeners welcome this compilation as a valuable addition to their vinyl collections, praising its selection of iconic tracks that showcase Triumph’s musical prowess and convey uplifting messages. However, several reviewers note that the compilation's effectiveness is undermined by its lack of depth and bonus features. While it includes popular singles, many of the tracks are "single edit" versions, leaving fans wanting more. Notably, some beloved songs, such as "Rock and Roll Machine," are Conspicuously absent, which dampens the overall appeal for dedicated fans. Furthermore, the absence of liner notes or additional materials in the sleeve diminishes the experience for those who enjoy learning about the band's history and context behind the songs. On the other hand, there are listeners who appreciate the straightforward presentation of these tracks, acknowledging the band's masterpieces, while also pointing out the compilation's limitations. Despite mixed reviews, the compilation has its supporters who see it as a testament to Triumph’s enduring legacy. **
