Trident Communication Devices Editorial Review
The Trident Instructor Size Underwater Writing Dive Slates have received a mixed yet largely positive reception from customers who appreciate their practicality and size for underwater communication. These slates have been recognized as effective tools for organizing and conveying important skills during diving sessions, serving well for both confined water training and open water dives. Users highlighted the slates' ideal dimensions, noting that they strike a good balance between being large enough for clear writing while remaining compact for easy handling underwater. The ease of reading both on the surface and below water has been commended, as well as the slates' sturdy design which prevents accidental erasure of written notes. However, there were some criticisms regarding the included pencil. A significant number of users reported issues with the pencil breaking or not performing satisfactorily, with one reviewer pointing out that a piece of lead fell out upon first use. Additionally, some users mentioned a preference for different writing tools and erasing methods, suggesting that enhancements could be made in this area. While there were a few instances of defective items upon arrival, customer service has effectively addressed these concerns by providing replacements. Overall, the Trident Dive Slates are lauded for their usability and value, though improvements to the writing instruments would elevate customer satisfaction further. **
