Quest Model Rockets 1012 Editorial Review
The Quest Aerospace Totally Tubular Model Rocket Kit has garnered a mixed reception from customers, highlighting both its enjoyable aspects and some noticeable drawbacks. The kit, described as a nod to the classic Centuri Groove Tube, features a unique finless design that simplifies the building process, making it an appealing choice for model rocket enthusiasts seeking a quick and easy project. Many users appreciate its pre-colored body tube parts, which eliminate the need for additional finishing materials, allowing for a streamlined experience. However, some users have pointed out stability issues when using a C engine, suggesting that adding some nose weight can mitigate this problem. Furthermore, while the stickers included in the kit are straightforward and fun to use, they have been criticized for their appearance, described as “plain ugly.” This detracts from the overall aesthetic of the finished rocket, impacting the user experience. Nonetheless, the kit's performance in terms of flight has also received mixed feedback. Although it boasts a range of up to 1500 feet, several users report that it often only reaches around 100 feet, leading to concerns about its reliability in achieving its projected altitudes. In summary, the Quest Aerospace Totally Tubular Model Rocket Kit is a good option for those looking for a quick assembly and a fun flying experience, but users should be wary of potential stability issues and the quality of the decals. **
