- Sun-dried salt from the Colima sea. It has a thick grain, but perfect for cooking. You don't need a mill.
- It is a product with exceptional gastronomic and nutritional qualities, since it is low in sodium and extremely rich in essential minerals. 100% natural and Mexican!
- SUGGESTED USE: The quality of this salt makes it perfect for cooking without over-salting food. It is the salt foam that is collected, and you can add it to your dishes when cooking or to finish them. Also use it as table salt. The flavor is very subtle.
- How is our Colima Yerbero Salt obtained? The harvest, that is, the extraction of salt, can only be carried out during a few months of the year, from February to the end of June or July. The extraction of our salt is possible thanks to the fact that the sun and the wind evaporate it naturally. The salineros extract it to the ponds with hoses and wells. It filters into the eras, terraces that separate the salt where it will crystallize and be swept away to remove residues.
