The Divine Comedy: Inferno; Purgatorio; Paradiso (Everyman's Library)
The Everyman's Library edition of "The Divine Comedy: Inferno; Purgatorio; Paradiso" has received mixed reviews from customers. While some find the translation and annotations to be of good quality, there are complaints about the font size in the e-book edition, with customers expressing disappointment at the misleading cover art and the lack of functioning chapter links. Additionally, some readers feel that the introduction at the beginning of each canto is insufficient in providing clarity on the content being read, and the absence of footnotes is seen as a drawback, especially in understanding the historical context. Moreover, the illustrations in this edition were described as amateurish. The overall sentiment seems to be that while the translation is commendable, the e-book edition lacks important features and quality, leading to a disappointing Kindle experience.
