Nutritionist's Take
THORNE B-Complex #12 is highly regarded in the nutrition community for its formulation that includes active forms of Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and Folate (methylfolate), which enhance bioavailability and efficacy. Nutritionists appreciate that the product avoids synthetic additives and includes high-quality ingredients, catering to both general health and specific dietary needs, such as those with MTHFR gene mutations who may struggle with converting synthetic forms of these vitamins. However, potential drawbacks include the price point, which may be higher than other B-complex alternatives, and the necessity for users to consider their individual vitamin and nutrient needs before supplementation, as excess B vitamins can sometimes cause side effects. Overall, THORNE B-Complex #12 is seen as a beneficial supplement for supporting energy metabolism and neurological function, making it a solid choice for many individuals, especially those following restricted diets.
