Wallace Forge Safety & Survival Editorial Review
The Perimeter Trip Alarm is designed as a reliable security device for camping and outdoor use. Customers appreciate its straightforward setup and the inclusion of screws for mounting, which makes it a breeze to install in various outdoor environments. The alarm produces a loud noise upon activation, effectively alerting users to unwanted wildlife and potential intruders while ensuring no harm comes to them. This is particularly noted in reviews where users have successfully utilized it to ward off animals like deer and raccoons, easing worries about losing food supplies during camping trips. Constructed from durable, rustproof aluminum, the device shows commendable build quality, designed to withstand outdoor conditions. Its versatility is also highlighted, as it works well with a range of blanks and primers available from local retailers. Users report feeling secure and at ease when they employ this alarm, which adds an extra layer of protection at their campsite or property. However, there are some drawbacks. Several reviewers mentioned that the provided instructions could be clearer, especially for those using the device for the first time. Additionally, the trigger mechanism may be overly stiff for some users, leading to concerns about its ease of use when activated. Some suggestions indicate a need for additional equipment beyond what is included with the device, depending on individual setups. Overall, the Perimeter Trip Alarm comes highly recommended for its effectiveness, ease of use, and peace of mind it offers during outdoor activities. **
