**** Gaerne's SG10 riding boots have received positive acclaim from customers who appreciate their blend of comfort, durability, and protective features. Many riders, including beginners and veterans alike, have noted the comfortable fit and the high-quality craftsmanship of the boots, validating the higher price point as a worthwhile investment. Customers initially reported a tight fit due to the ankle padding, but many found that after breaking them in by wearing them around the house, the discomfort faded. Notably, one user with an injured ankle found they no longer experienced pain from the screws in their ankle, which significantly enhanced their riding experience. This adaptability seems a hallmark of the SG10 model, as numerous users reported minimal or no break-in time required, leading to immediate comfort on and off the bike. Users did highlight a surprising issue with a protruding nail found in one pair, illustrating a potential manufacturing oversight. Nevertheless, this was overshadowed by the overall positive comfort and performance feedback. The boot's design was praised for its aesthetic appeal alongside functionality; many found the boots striking and well-crafted. While some wished for a slightly wider toe box, the general Consensus is that the SG10's fit was ample and accommodating. Gaerne's SG10 boots appear to be an excellent choice for those serious about riding, providing both comfort and protection on diverse terrains, yet buyers are advised to check their boots thoroughly before the first use to avoid any unforeseen discomfort. **
