What is the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik and how does it work?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik is an indoor hanging fly trap designed to attract and capture flies using a non-toxic adhesive. This effective method eliminates the need for chemicals, making it safe for homes with pets and children. The trap emits a color that mimics food sources, pulling flies in and then trapping them on its sticky surface. It is particularly useful in kitchens, dining areas, and anywhere food is present, as it helps maintain a fly-free environment.

Where can I place the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik for best results?

For optimal effectiveness, place the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik in areas where you frequently observe flies, such as near windows, doors, or garbage bins. The trap can be hung from ceilings or beams to maximize the area of attraction. Remember that flies are usually drawn to light and strong odors, so think of positioning in proximity to potential food sources to enhance its fly-catching capabilities.

Is the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik safe to use around children and pets?

Yes, the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik is designed with safety in mind. It uses a non-toxic adhesive that poses no harm to children or pets. Its chemical-free formulation makes it a great option for households concerned about safety. However, it’s still advisable to place the trap out of reach of very young children or curious pets to prevent any sticky accidents.

How many flies can the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik capture?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik is capable of capturing hundreds of flies depending on the level of infestation and environmental conditions. The trap’s efficacy improves with proper placement in fly-prone areas. For best results, monitor the trap regularly and replace it when it’s full to maintain its high catch rate and keep your space free from unwanted pests.

How long does the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik last?

The lifespan of a RESCUE! Fly TrapStik varies based on environmental factors and the presence of flies in the area. Typically, each trap remains effective for several weeks. However, its performance will decrease as it becomes covered with captured flies or environmental debris. For continuous fly control, it's recommended to replace the traps regularly, especially during peak fly seasons.

Can the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik be used outdoors?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik is primarily designed for indoor use. While it might withstand light outdoor conditions, exposure to severe weather elements can affect its adhesive performance. For outdoor environments, other dedicated fly traps are available that are specifically designed for outdoor use, ensuring better results. Using the trap indoors, particularly in high-traffic areas, ensures it works to its full potential.

What are the dimensions of the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik measures approximately 12 inches in length. Its compact design allows for discreet placement, while still being effective in trapping flies. This size makes it suitable for various indoor spaces, allowing it to fit seamlessly into your decor while still providing powerful fly-catching capabilities.

How does the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik compare to other fly traps?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik stands out due to its non-toxic, chemical-free adhesive, which makes it safer than many traditional traps. Unlike electric or bait-based traps, it doesn’t create noise or need batteries, making it a quiet option for your home. Its design is aesthetic, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your indoor environment while effectively fighting fly infestations.

How many traps are included in the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik package?

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik package includes six traps, allowing for adequate coverage in multiple areas of your home. This multipack is particularly convenient for larger spaces or homes where fly activity is common, ensuring that you have spare traps readily available for immediate use as needed.

RESCUE! Traps TSF Editorial Review

The RESCUE! Fly TrapStik is an indoor hanging fly trap that has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users have found it to be highly effective in ridding their homes of annoying insects like food gnats and flies. One user even commented that it was the only product that worked during "fly season" in their area. However, others have found it to be ineffective and a waste of money. The trap is easy to use and can be hung indoors or outdoors. It is also aesthetically pleasing and comes in a color that camouflages the trapped flies. However, users should be cautious not to let it touch their hair as it can be difficult to remove. Overall, the RESCUE! Fly TrapStik seems to be a hit or miss product. Some users have found it highly effective in trapping flies, while others have found it to be ineffective. However, for those who have had success with the product, it provides an economical solution for keeping their homes fly-free.
