Monographs Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** The "Rembrandt: The Complete Paintings" is a remarkable compilation that has overwhelmingly impressed art enthusiasts and collectors alike. Reviewers have celebrated the book's size and quality, often likening its weight and bound presentation to handling a prized tome of great significance. The reproductions of Rembrandt's works are described as breathtakingly clear, allowing readers to appreciate the intricate details of each painting, making it an invaluable resource for both admirers of art and practicing artists. Many customers specifically highlight the book’s research depth, suggesting it is not only visually stunning but also informative, even though some express a preference for expanded close-ups of the artwork. Reviewers with backgrounds in art education appreciate the book as an essential reference, particularly for studying the brushwork and techniques employed by the master painter. The feedback indicates that this book serves not just as a coffee table piece but as a serious tool for artistic inspiration and study. While the response has been largely positive, there are minor critiques. Some reviewers wish for less border around the images and express disappointment regarding the number of blank pages. Additionally, a recurring theme in the feedback suggests that the book’s price point may be a concern, particularly for struggling artists who wish to have such a quality resource but find it difficult to justify the cost. Overall, "Rembrandt: The Complete Paintings" is a triumph in art publishing that resonates with its audience, catering to both the inspired casual viewer and the committing scholar or artist. **
