Simpson Strong-Tie Brackets Editorial Review
The Simpson Strong-Tie ET3G22-N – a 22oz Epoxy Anchoring Adhesive with Nozzle – has garnered positive reviews from users who appreciate its performance, especially when it comes to bonding threaded rod concrete anchors into slabs. Users noted the excellent price point compared to local options which added to the overall appeal of the product. The extended working time of the adhesive allows for a more leisurely application without the worry of the adhesive setting too quickly in the mixing tube. This has proven particularly advantageous for large jobs, enabling complete use of the entire 22oz without any waste. Many users found it particularly effective for flat slab applications, although some suggested that it might not perform as well in horizontal or overhead situations. The adhesive's versatility extends beyond its primary purpose, with users finding success in bonding steel to various materials and utilizing leftovers in different shop environments. The adhesive is touted as perfect for many applications, including securing bolts to concrete for a diving board installation. However, it's worth noting that estimating required amounts might vary, as some users recommend ordering up to 40% more than calculated. In summary, the Simpson Strong-Tie ET3G22-N epoxy anchoring adhesive has impressed users with its efficacy, versatility, and extended work time, making it a reliable choice for anchoring tasks. **
