Everest is great for a wide variety of serious tripods, and monopod solutions and sports the most rigid CNC forged, anodized aluminum, wear-resistant finish. An innovative flip-lock clamping quick-release plate lets you rapidly lock and release cameras with one hand. In line with all 3POD's signature ballhead gems, the H2 employs state-of-the-art ergonomic design, damping for flawlessly smooth movement and jitter-free panning.At the base of the head, a convenient inscribed 360 Degree dial makes for easy, perfect positioning throughout the ballhead's full range of panoramic movement. 2 bubble levels, 1 on the head perimeter and a 180 Degree circular bullseye, next to the lock knob, assure absolute alignment in any 3-dimensions. The dual drop-in channels support vertical portrait orientation without stress to the clamping mechanism.
