cloud microphones Editorial Review
Cloud CLOUDLIFTER-CL1 Single Ch Microphone Preamplifier F/Dynamic/Ribbon Mics is an excellent solution for enhancing the performance of low gain dynamic and ribbon microphones. Users have found that it significantly improves the sensitivity of microphones like the Shure SM7B, allowing for much cleaner gain without noise. The device is designed specifically for preamps that may not provide sufficient power, making it a great addition to any setup utilizing microphones such as the EV PL-20 or Super 57/58. The Cloudlifter's lightweight design and ease of use, along with its high impedance input feature, make it a reliable choice for both recording vocals and instruments. However, it's important to remember that it does not provide phantom power, which is crucial for certain mics.
