Nutritionist's Take
Klean ATHLETE's Klean Casein Protein is a well-regarded product within the sports nutrition community, particularly for its focus on muscle recovery and prevention of muscle breakdown. It is NSF Certified for Sport, ensuring it meets rigorous standards for safety and purity, appealing to athletes concerned about banned substances. The protein source, casein, is a slow-digesting protein ideal for overnight recovery and provides a sustained release of amino acids. However, potential drawbacks include its dairy origin, which may not suit those with lactose intolerance or a vegan lifestyle. Nutritionally, it offers a solid profile of proteins but lacks additional vitamins or minerals that some protein powders provide. Overall, for individuals seeking a clean, effective protein supplement as part of a balanced diet, Klean Casein Protein is a suitable choice that supports muscle health.
