AA Performance Pistons & Pins Editorial Review
The AA Performance Products 87 x 69mm 1641cc Piston & Cylinder Kit for VW is a popular product amongst VW enthusiasts. One potential buyer asked if the kit was available for a 1300 engine, but unfortunately, it is no longer in production. The parts are made in China and then sent to AA Performance in Los Angeles for final machine fitting and ring installation. Another buyer inquired about upgrading to dual port heads and was advised that they could do this as long as they matched the cylinder size to their single port heads and added dual port intake manifolds. One customer even asked if these 87 jugs could be installed on a stock 1600cc engine without any machining work, and the answer was yes. The reviews for this product have been overwhelmingly positive, with customers praising its performance and reliability. One reviewer noted that the kit improved their car's power and gas mileage, while another mentioned that they had put over 10,000 miles on their car since installing the kit with no issues. Another customer stated that the kit was easy to install and a great value for its price. Overall, it seems that the AA Performance Products 87 x 69mm 1641cc Piston & Cylinder Kit for VW is a solid choice for those looking to upgrade their VW's engine.
