The Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Sword Scabbard is a plastic sword inside a plastic sheath and is quite light. It comes with a stud to connect it to the belt or slip in between belt and pants. The sword is 30" long and stiff plastic but durable and rigid. Although, it may have visible screws on one side. It works well for a pirate costume and is great for Halloween or theater props. The sword has a good quality for its price but is just a toy sword and should cost less than $40.
