KUTSUWA STAD K'ZOOL Sharpness Adjustable Pencil Sharpener (RS035PU)

### Editorial Review The Kutsuwa STAD K'ZOOL Adjustable Pencil Sharpener presents an intriguing option for those seeking a reliable and customizable sharpening solution. Many users have sung its praises, emphasizing its ability to produce nice and sharp points, making it a suitable choice for both Graphite and colored pencils. Priced reasonably for a product made in Japan, its affordability does not detract from its functionality, providing sharpness versatility desired by artists and students alike. However, comparisons to its sibling model, the Kutsuwa STAD T'GAAL, paint a picture of a sharpener that, while effective, lacks certain desirable features. The primary drawback is the absence of clearly marked settings on the adjustment dial. Users have found the dial's design somewhat confusing, as it lacks distinct indicators or a "click" mechanism to confirm their chosen sharpening option. This can lead to uncertainty when trying to achieve the desired pencil point length, with some users inadvertently rotating past options. The K'ZOOL does fulfill its basic purpose but doesn't offer the precise control that the T'GAAL does. In terms of design, the compact and pocket-friendly nature of the K'ZOOL is appreciated, alongside its visually appealing translucent purple casing. However, users have pointed out the need for a more straightforward mechanism for opening the sharpener and disposing of shavings, as these operations are not intuitively clear due to the lack of included instructions. In conclusion, while the Kutsuwa STAD K'ZOOL Adjustable Pencil Sharpener performs admirably in sharpening pencils, its operational ambiguities and lack of differentiation from its more reputable counterpart may leave some users wanting. Those committed to achieving the perfect pencil point might prefer the more advanced STAD T'GAAL, but for those who value aesthetics and basic functionality at a good price, the K'ZOOL still holds merit. ### Pros and Cons **
