Kalypso Games 116 Editorial Review
Project Highrise: Architects Edition for Nintendo Switch is a great game for those into world-building games where you build your own towers and make massive profits. The game is challenging and addictive, and it comes with tutorials and an "unlimited cash and resources" option that makes it easy to learn. It is similar to the old PC game SimTower, but with better graphics and features. You get to rename everything, and the game pays no attention to real-world physics. One of the outstanding aspects of Project Highrise: Architects Edition is the 29 scenario challenges, each with their bronze, silver, and gold goals, and the design is color-coded to make it easy for the player to tell what category they belong to. However, it would be best if you unlocked the scenarios one at a time, and the cost of media campaigns and Consultant upgrades gets exponentially more expensive. Some of the missed opportunities include the absence of escalators, residents and hotel guests not turning off their lights at night, and no pest symbol appearing over each infested hotel room as the infestation spreads.
