The CRKT Fossil Folding Pocket Knife is a sleek and stylish everyday carry (EDC) knife that has good looks and great functionality. The blade length is 3.953" with a cutting edge of 3.6875". The clip on the knife has been criticised by some and has caused difficulties with hang-ups, but one customer has resolved the issue by drilling out the screw holes and grinding off the tips of two screws. This has made the pocket clip hold onto the pocket much tighter, preventing any issues. This knife is on a bearing system, which means it is smooth and easy to open, and the index finger opening is very reliable. There have been no reported problems with the locking mechanism. Some customers have been confused about whether this is the large or compact version, with some stating that it is not a compact knife. There have been no issues with NC carrying laws.
