Clarkspoon Pk1-0RBMS Spoon/Planer Kit

The Clarkspoon Planer Kit has garnered a positive response from customers who have used it for fishing, particularly for catching smaller pelagic species such as Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and Bonito. Users appreciate the effectiveness of the rig, especially when deployed in deep waters like the Chesapeake Bay. The kit provides all the essential components for mid to shallow depth trolling, making it suitable for both novice and experienced anglers. The included Clark spoon is praised for its ability to mimic the movement of a sardine, which is attractive to target fish when trolled at the recommended speeds. However, some customers have noted that while the kit is overall effective, the instructions provided with it are lacking. This has led some to suggest that novice users might benefit from supplemental resources, such as YouTube videos, to fully understand how to set it up properly. Nevertheless, the presence of a comprehensive 15-page booklet that covers rigging techniques, operation theory, and species targeting tips is appreciated, especially for those new to using planers. The planner itself is compact and effective, although one user expressed a desire to modify its color to mitigate undesirable line strikes. Additionally, there was a mention of a missing para cord from one user’s kit, illustrating a potential area for improvement in quality control. In summary, the Clarkspoon Planer Kit is well-regarded by users, who find it a valuable addition to their fishing gear for targeting pelagic species, despite some minor criticism regarding the instructional materials and quality Consistency. **
