The knife in question is a large, heavy knife that is great for cutting bone and cartilage. However, it does not come with a sheath and is not recommended for carrying. It is made in China but is forged like Japanese steel. It is advised to clean with warm soapy water, ensuring all water is removed afterwards. A pre-angle sharpener with an angle of 13-15 degrees is recommended. Customers have been highly satisfied with this product. One reviewer mentioned that it is an excellent cleaver, but lacks edge protection making it dangerous to keep. Another customer mentioned that it is perfect for their kitchen and that they use it all the time. Another reviewer noted that the weight is nice and better than expected. Finally, a customer mentioned that they found the knife to be impressively sharp, easy to care for, and perfect for cutting vegetables, chicken, and steak.
