Bee Paper Company Decorative Paper BEE-949T12-1114 Editorial Review
The Bee Paper Black Bristol Pad is a heavyweight artist paper with a stiff, hard surface that can withstand various media and extensive erasing without turning black. Users have praised its performance with gouache watercolors, colored pencils, acrylics, and watercolors, noting its ability to hold up well to erasures and blending. The matte black surface offers a unique touch, though some have found the texture to be a bit rough for achieving hard edges for their specific artwork. Nevertheless, the back surface provides more control and smoother results, making it versatile for different techniques. Although the pad is not perforated, the heavyweight paper rips cleanly. Overall, it is highly regarded for its quality and suitability for different artistic projects.
