Better Living Alto Extendable Shower Squeegee, 18" Extension, Black Chrome

The Better Living Products 17900 Extendable Squeegee for Showers has garnered mixed feedback from customers regarding its performance and design. Initially, users expressed frustration due to a seemingly stiff rubber edge that failed to adequately remove water, resulting in loud thumping noises against the shower surfaces. However, after a week of usage, many found that it improved significantly—drying off water from the shower floor and walls more effectively than their previous squeegees, especially in hard water conditions where mineral buildup is a concern. The design of the squeegee received praise for its aesthetic appeal and practical functionality, particularly the extendable handle that caters to tall showers. Customers appreciated how it allows for easy storage while remaining visually appealing when hung on the wall. Additionally, the suction cup installation was generally well-received, holding securely to smooth surfaces. Despite its strengths, several users reported concerns over the quality of materials, particularly with regards to the screws. Many expressed disappointment that after a few months of regular use, screws would loosen or break, leading to mechanical failures that rendered the squeegee useless. As such, the durability of the squeegee’s extension mechanism was called into question, with some noting that the locking button would break after several months, making it difficult to extend or retract the arm smoothly. In conclusion, while the Better Living Products Extendable Squeegee offers an attractive design and improved cleaning performance with regular use, concerns regarding its build quality and durability may deter some potential buyers. ###
