What is a Riker mount and how does it preserve butterflies?

A Riker mount is a display method involving a clear glass-like surface that showcases specimens like the Giant Swordtail Butterfly in a flat environment, preserving their natural beauty. The mount functions by allowing air circulation while protecting the specimen from dust and damage, thus showcasing its intricate details and colors effectively. This makes it ideal for collectors, educators, and nature enthusiasts who wish to appreciate the delicate artistry of the butterfly without compromising its integrity.
