Several users have found it durable, with one customer mentioning it was perfect for their 6-7 month old lab during freezing weather. Another customer appreciates the variety of colors and lengths available, along with the protective lock on the carabiner. However, some customers have faced issues with the leash's locking mechanism. One user experienced a dangerous situation when their dog came off-leash due to a failure in the locking mechanism, leading to concerns about its safety. Another user advised against using the leash for dogs that pull, as it tends to stretch. Some customers have also highlighted that it can get dirty and soggy and is not suitable for use in water. Overall, the NTR 6FT Training Leash has been praised for its durability, comfortable handle, and variety of colors and lengths. However, there are notable concerns about the reliability of the locking mechanism and its suitability for dogs that pull.
