KYB Struts 564004 Editorial Review
The KYB 564004 MonoMax Gas Strut is a high-quality aftermarket suspension component designed to improve the ride and handling of your vehicle. Please note that these shocks are sold individually, so you will need to purchase two if you require a pair for your vehicle. According to customer feedback, these shocks can be used to lift the front of certain trucks by adding a spacer at the bottom of the strut. It is recommended to use the included extended hardware for this installation. However, please be aware that the top plates included with the strut are not flat and are designed for specific left and right usage only. For vehicles with Z55 auto ride suspension, it is possible to fit these shocks with an electronic bypass, but you will need to change the springs and complete a full conversion, including new non-Z55 springs. Overall, customers have praised the performance and durability of the KYB 564004 MonoMax Gas Strut, noting that it is worth the investment for improved ride quality. **
