The telescope is easy to set up, and the optics are of good quality which is great for crisp viewing of the moon and stars. The telescope is portable, easy to use, and has a standard dovetail bar that can be mounted on any suitable mount/tripod combo. However, the product has some downsides. The mount is not stable, and the scope shakes a bit, which can make higher magnifications a bit of a challenge. The smartphone holder does not work, and the suction cups do not hold the phone, which can be frustrating when trying to show off your images. The instruction manual is also very bad, but fortunately, Explore Scientific has a tutorial video on YouTube that explains how to assemble the kit step by step.
