Bosch Spark Plugs 6704_1 Editorial Review
The Bosch (6704) HR8LPP30U Original Equipment Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plug has garnered a mixed reception from customers, reflecting a blend of positive performance reviews and some notable concerns regarding manufacturing Consistency. Many users appreciate the cost-effective pricing and generally good quality of these spark plugs, citing improvements in engine performance when installed. For example, most customers report smoother truck operation and enhanced fuel efficiency, with one driver even noting they achieved 17.23 MPG after installation. There are recommendations to use antiseize on the threads and dielectric grease on the electrodes to ensure optimal performance. However, some customers expressed dissatisfaction due to discrepancies in manufacturing location. There were complaints about receiving Chinese-made plugs when they anticipated German-made products, leading to concerns about quality. Furthermore, one user reported experiencing a misfire issue after installation, suggesting that the Bosch Platinum plugs did not perform as well as the previous AC Iridium plugs. Overall, while the Bosch Platinum spark plugs are seen as a good alternative for improving engine efficiency at an affordable price, potential buyers should weigh these benefits against possible quality inConsistencies and performance issues reported by some users. **
