Mares Diving Fins Editorial Review
The Mares Fins Avanti 4 Power is a solidly built fin with a green camo pattern that many customers love. However, one issue that customers have noted is that the foot cup is too large in terms of its width and depth. It seems like Mares expects these fins to be worn with a full dive boot, making it difficult for those who don't wear boots to find a proper fit. Even sizing down on another pair did not solve the issue of the fins being too wide. These fins are recommended for those with 4E width shoes or those who wear boots while diving. Despite the fit issue, the Mares Fins Avanti 4 Power is praised for its power and stiffness, making it a great choice for Under Water Hockey. Customers also appreciate the long and fast design of these fins, which make them suitable for free diving. However, it is important to note that these fins are 29" long and run a little large, so wearing neoprene socks is recommended. In summary, the Mares Fins Avanti 4 Power is a durable and powerful fin, but it may not fit properly for those who don't wear boots while diving.
