Nutritionist's Take
Real Milk Paint's Carnauba Wax Paste is primarily a wood finishing product rather than a food item, so it doesn't have traditional nutritional benefits or drawbacks. It’s made from natural ingredients, including carnauba wax, which is plant-based and generally recognized as safe for use around food surfaces when cured properly. However, it’s important to note that while it’s non-toxic and safer than many synthetic options, it’s not intended for ingestion. The wax serves to protect and enhance the appearance of wood furniture and cabinets, but users should ensure that surfaces treated with it do not directly contact food unless fully dried and cured. For those adhering to strict health or dietary protocols, understanding the application and drying process is essential. Overall, it’s a safe product for household use, but not a nutritional input.
Real Milk Paint Wood Conditioners, Waxes & Oils 8542148828 Editorial Review
Real Milk Paint's Carnauba Wax Paste is a wood finishing wax that can be used on milk paint, wood furniture, kitchen cabinets, and tabletops. The paste wax has a medium Consistency and can be easily applied and picked up with a rag. It can protect wood outdoors if applied over a sealer, however, this wax is not recommended to use on granite or cement countertops. This Carnauba Wax Paste dries within 1-2 hours, has a shelf life of 1-2 years when unopened, is food-safe, natural, and has little to no unpleasant smells. This product leaves a subtle satin shine finish on wood and provides a hard, smooth and slippery surface.
