KIWITATA Editorial Review
The 2 Pack N64 Controller, Classic Mini N64 Wired USB 64-bit Upgraded Joystick Game Pad Joypad Controller for Windows PC Mac Black & Gray is a decent option for those looking to replace their old or broken N64 controllers. They come in a nice black and gray color scheme and have a good build quality. However, there are some issues that come with these controllers. The joystick is overly sensitive and can make it difficult to play certain games. Additionally, there seems to be a problem with mapping the buttons correctly in certain programs, particularly in Retroarch. The lack of unique drivers for the controllers also makes it challenging to set up properly, and the buttons are not numbered the same, causing confusion when configuring them. Overall, while they may work well in standalone apps, their compatibility issues with certain programs and lack of proper mapping can make them a hassle to use. One thing to note is that the D-pad feels better than an original N64 D-pad.
