Answer: This is not recommended. You have a 4+4 cable that would power the CPU. If your CPU does not require a full 8-pin (4+4) adapter to power the CPU, you should use that. This Adams cable does allow you to power your CPU as I use it to power several Xeon E5645 processors, but those require the full 8-pin (4+4) from the Asaka cable. Hope that helps. -
