Fishman Electronics PRF-CSB-DT2 Editorial Review
The Fishman Fluence Devin Townsend Signature Pickup Set in black nickel finish is a highly acclaimed product by its users. The pickups require a 9V power source, come with pots and wiring, but no battery. Users have successfully installed these pickups in different guitar models, but re-wiring is required and may require professional assistance. There are two ways to wire the pickups, with the option to add an additional 2-3 way switch for three different voices. The pickups are expensive, but many users deem them worth it. The set is lightweight due to the absence of wires in the pickups. The pickups have a thick, low-end chunky sound with much more character in the highs and mids that are not as obvious as with other actives, such as EMG. The pickups are suitable for heavy music and offer excellent cleans too.
