IPF fog lamp halogen H3 round clear S-9682 The IPF fog lamp halogen H3 round clear S-9682 has received positive feedback from customers who have purchased and used it for several months. Users have found that the fog lamp performs well in various weather conditions, including rain and snow, without any issues of water leakage. The brightness of the lamp is also as expected. One customer mentioned that they installed the fog lamp on their JB64 vehicle. They stated that they were looking for a fog lamp or driving lamp that would provide sufficient brightness, as they found the standard 55W bulb to be fairly weak. They mentioned that they used to install high-wattage bulbs in the past, but with the current plastic lenses and bodies, they were concerned about the potential melting of the lens. The customer noted that the IPF fog lamp felt more like a toy and that finding fog lamps with glass lenses from the Showa era might be the only option. Another customer mentioned that they have been using the fog lamp as a sub-light and have been satisfied with its performance. They expressed that they needed an auxiliary light for driving at night and during rainy weather, and the IPF fog lamp was the only option available. They found the quality and cost-performance of the product to be satisfactory. The inclusion of a brake stop option was noted and appreciated. The customer mentioned that many products in this field are overpriced, especially those from Japanese manufacturers such as P〇〇A (likely referring to PIAA). They believe that the IPF fog lamp, priced around 10,000 yen, is reasonably priced and offers the reliability associated with the IPF brand. The customer expressed understanding for the prevalence of promotions in this sector. The review also highlighted the waterproof performance of the fog lamp, stating that although it is not perfect, it is sufficient. They recommended applying caulk to address any concerns about water penetration. Additionally, using a cover can further prevent water from entering. The customer personally applied vinyl tape around the lens for added protection. They mentioned that if there is any dissatisfaction, it would be the limited availability of bright LED bulbs for the H3 socket, making it difficult for aftermarket upgrades. The clearance space on the back of the reflector also makes it challenging to switch to off-the-shelf LED bulbs. They expressed disappointment that IPF's H3 LED bulb cannot be used without modifications. One customer described IPF as a Japanese manufacturer with poor quality, noting that the appearance of the fog lamp is eye-catching but essentially decorative. Overall, customers have found the IPF fog lamp halogen H3 round clear S-9682 to be a reliable and satisfactory option for auxiliary lighting, offering adequate brightness and performance.
