EMG Pickups & Pickup Covers EM938129 Editorial Review
The EMG 85-X Active Humbucker Pickup in GOLD is a powerhouse for metal guitarists. With its tight, heavy sound, it is perfectly suited for the genre. This pickup provides excellent versatility, making it suitable for both rhythm and lead playing. One of the standout features of the EMG 85-X is its boost circuit. This circuit adds extra mid-range clarity and articulation, giving your notes a more defined and punchy character. Whether you're shredding through solos or chugging away at riffs, the EMG 85-X delivers the goods. The active nature of this pickup means it requires a 9V battery for operation. Overall, the EMG 85-X Active Humbucker Pickup in GOLD is an exceptional choice for metal guitarists. Its tight and heavy sound coupled with the boost circuit make it a force to be reckoned with. Whether you're playing rhythm or lead, this pickup delivers outstanding performance and versatility.
