Scuba Choice Scuba Diving Tank Banger

The Scuba Choice Diving Dive Diver Cylinder Tank Banger Signaling Device offers a mixed bag of customer experiences. While it presents a cost-effective solution for divers to signal their buddies without the hassle of bells or shakers, its effectiveness seems to vary significantly among users. The mechanism operates by pulling on a ball that snaps into the tank, emitting an audible ping that is intended to alert fellow divers, but many users found the noise to be less impactful than hoped—described as more of a "faint dull thud" rather than a clear signal. Some customers appreciated the streamlined design, noting that it’s one less bulky item to attach to their BCD (buoyancy control device). The use of a rubber band instead of a bungee was favored by some users, highlighting its stability once attached to the tank. Nevertheless, several users reported issues, such as the band snapping before use, complications when attaching and detaching the device, and concerns about losing it during dives. There seems to be a Consensus that while this signaling device has its merits, alternative options might offer better reliability and sound for diving communication. A number of reviewers suggest investing in a different type of signaling device, particularly when Considering safety and the capability of garnering immediate attention while underwater. Overall, the Scuba Choice Diving Dive Diver Cylinder Tank Banger Signaling Device can function decently within certain parameters but does not stand out as a top-tier choice for divers seeking dependable signaling equipment. **
