Answer: It’s strong and tight which make it hard for the dog to get out from it. -

The top ring seems to be made of plastic. I have the XL and it just fits my 140lb Borboel. Is that ring strong enough? I don't know if it's trustable.
Answer: I feel like the top ring is substantial, but my dog is not a constant puller and only 30 pounds.
