HEATGENE's towel warmer is an electric plug-in or hardwired heated towel rack that features a simple on and off button. While there is no thermostat built-in, users can add a simple wall timer or programable timer to control the warmer. Although the installation instructions are barely acceptable, this unit is easy to install, with most users using larger molly bolts than the ones supplied. HEATGENE's product design has some flaws in that the horizontal mounting posts and towel bars are not on center, which doesn't align nor keep towels evenly dried/warmed, respectively. While this product warms towels, it can take up to 90 minutes to get towels toasty warm (despite the claimed 15 and 30-minute temperature rise for the rack), although, it works great with two bath towels. The on/off button is at the bottom of the unit, which can be difficult to locate and use but keeps fingers safe from the heat. The towel rack gets very warm, almost too hot. Most notably, this rack does not deliver on heating towels to the degree that some may expect, with some users receiving not even warm towels, only a warm rack.
