Visioneer Document Scanners Editorial Review
**** The Visioneer Road Warrior RW120 scanner has generated a mixed reception among users, highlighting both its potential and pitfalls. Customers appreciate its compact design, which makes it easy to transport and suitable for on-the-go scanning. Users favor the scanner’s ability to convert physical documents into editable Microsoft Word files, often noting that it performs this function with a surprisingly high level of accuracy for standard text documents. This feature has made it a valuable tool for professionals who need to digitize and edit previously printed materials. However, the Road Warrior RW120 is not without significant issues. Several customers reported a decline in scanning quality over time, with problems such as poor brightness control and image distortion becoming common after extended use. User experiences vary widely—while some praised their initial models, others reported failing units shortly after purchase. Support options for troubleshooting are criticized for being inadequate, with many users expressing frustration at the lack of helpful resources on Visioneer's website and the difficulty in resolving technical problems. Overall, while the Visioneer RW120 can meet basic scanning needs, long-term reliability and customer support issues appear to hinder its overall appeal. Prospective buyers should weigh the scanner's benefits against the potential drawbacks regarding durability and customer service. **
