Truma Antifreezes & Coolants Editorial Review
** Truma AquaGo Electric Antifreeze Kit** The Truma AquaGo Electric Antifreeze Kit comes highly recommended for travelers who frequently face the challenge of keeping their hot water system operational during cold weather. Users appreciate the straightforward installation process, with the kit providing all necessary materials for set-up. While plugging into power might sound intimidating, users have reported it to be simple and non-threatening, taking just a few minutes to complete. Many customers find that the kit operates efficiently, effectively addressing the issue of maintaining operational hot water during driving in freezing conditions. This is particularly convenient for those who prefer not to drain and refill their Truma unit on travel days. However, it’s important to note that the Truma system is primarily designed to be kept warm via its propane heating, and the electric antifreeze kit is more of an auxiliary solution rather than a replacement for the standard operation. One minor drawback shared by users pertains to the flue plug included in the kit. While it protects the system from windchill, its design can make it slightly cumbersome to close the Truma door when in place. Though not a dealbreaker, it has been highlighted as an area for potential improvement. Overall, the Truma AquaGo Electric Antifreeze Kit earns praise for functionality, ease of installation, and solving a specific problem for those traveling in cold weather. **
