MI&VI Violin Editorial Review
The Classic Viola Shoulder Rest by MIVI Music is a well-designed and well-Constructed shoulder rest. Made with real maple wood, it has a classic and elegant look. The rest is comfortable and fits the viola tightly, providing excellent support. It is adjustable in height, although the difference in height options is limited to 1/4 to 5/8 of an inch. The shoulder rest is suitable for 1/4 size violins and 4/4 violins, although it may not fit as tightly on the latter. Some users have found that the feet of the shoulder rest have a slippery material, causing it to slide off the instrument. They suggest that the feet should be coated in a non-slip material like rubber for better grip. Overall, the Classic Viola Shoulder Rest receives positive reviews for its design, comfort, and support. However, the limited height adjustment options and the issue with the slippery feet might be a drawback for some users.
