Nutritionist's Take
The Thermotex Equine Far Infrared Heating Hood is primarily designed for pain relief and muscle recovery in horses rather than for direct nutritional benefits. It employs far infrared technology to penetrate deep into the tissues, which can improve circulation and reduce inflammation. While it doesn’t provide nutritional content, it may support overall health by aiding recovery after strenuous activity or injury. However, it should not replace proper nutrition or veterinary care. Potential drawbacks include the initial investment cost and reliance on a non-nutritional aid for health improvement. While beneficial for performance horses, all horse owners should consider their individual equine’s health needs and consult with a veterinarian for holistic care strategies.
Thermotex Heating Pads Editorial Review

Designed for targeted therapy, this heating hood is particularly effective at alleviating discomfort in the frontal sinuses, face, and throat of horses. Its lightweight structure at just over 2 pounds ensures ease of use, while the self-fastening straps provide a secure fit. Since its release on June 26, 2019, it has garnered attention for its efficient design and practicality among horse owners.
