These aren't real leather, they are synthetic leather?
Answer: The synthetic versions have the Everlast logo on the thumbs. The leather versions do not. -

Are these gloves better quality than the synthetic leather? Stitching, padding, durability etc. Or is the only difference the outer shell?
Answer: I haven't had them long, but they seem sturdy, and more experienced people at the gym said real leather will far outlast the synthetic with heavy use. -

How many layers of padding does it have?
Answer: I'm not sure, but I don't even wrap my hands when I use these gloves and my hands never hurt. Love these gloves.
