The CTS 250K Short Solid Shaft Audio PotentiometerPot - 450G Series - Pair 2X are high-quality audio taper pots that fit well in most electric guitars. They feature a shorter shaft than regular CTS pots and are Considered regular-sized pots. The product works well for volume and tone controls for single-coil or noiseless guitar pickups. There were some complaints about loose crimps on one of the lugs of the product, making it intermittently lose all output. The thread on the potentiometers is just long enough for a telecaster plate or pickguard mound. The installation of new pots on a tele was initially perfect, but a tone pot became scratchy sounding on the low end. However, the Deoxit and anti-static spray would work fine, and the treble bleed circuit on that pot is working well. The CTS pots are perfect replacements for the bad ones in the case of a 1960 or 81 Telecaster. The pots sound great and feel great and are affordable compared to the SD or EVH pots. However, the shaft barely makes it through the guitar body, and the product has only enough threads to attach two washers and a nut.
