CFS – 2 Pack Carbon Block Water Filter Cartridge Compatible with Rainsoft 21176, 21179, 21191 Models – Removes Bad Taste and Odor – Reverse

The customer experience with this replacement water filter system appears to be mixed. Many users appreciate the affordability and compatibility of the filters, especially for older systems like the Rainsoft UF50 and 21176. Several reviewers noted that these filters were a cost-effective alternative to purchasing from larger retail stores, making them a great choice for do-it-yourself enthusiasts looking to maintain their water systems. However, some customers reported issues with taste and odor when using the filters. One review highlighted a significant problem, where the water became yellow and foul-tasting, ultimately requiring professional intervention to clean and replace the entire setup. This indicates that while these filters can be a good option for some, they may not work optimally for all users, leading to potential risks if not properly monitored. Overall, the product seems to serve as a valuable, budget-friendly replacement for many customers, but there are significant quality control concerns that could affect individual experiences. Potential buyers should Consider both the positive aspects of affordability and the negative experiences related to taste and quality before making a decision. Pros and Cons: **
