It has built-in MoCA technology and can provide high-speed internet access to multiple devices using the existing coaxial cable connection in the user's home. However, it cannot be used as a router with a separate external modem, and it does not have a phone jack port for voice service. Users have reported that some features are disabled in the black version of the modem, which appears to be a commercial product, while the white version is a strictly Consumer product with all features enabled.
