The 5 inch rubber pad is solid and does not have a center hole. Am I supposed to drill a center hole?
Answer: No, drilling a center hole is not necessary. -

The pictures show a 4" backing pad but the polishing pads are 5". Will they work together?
Answer: The kit comes with a 5 inch rubber backing pad. -

Are the low-numbered discs the most coarse?
Answer: Yes, the lowest grit is the most coarse. -

Can these be used dry too?
Answer: You can use the lower grits up to 200 dry, but after that, water must be used. -
Question:
I have a 5" orbital sander with a minimum RPM setting of 7000 RPM. Will these pads work? I plan to finish concrete countertops.
Answer: I used a 7 inch polishing grinder at 3600 RPM and it worked great. 7000 RPM might be too fast for these pads. -
Question:
Do they attach to hook and loop?
Answer: Yes, they attach to hook and loop. I changed them out quite a bit without any problems.
